Heeeeeeeeey, Saturday people! I’m linking up with Janette over at Janette the Jongleur today. If you haven’t visited her blog yet, you really need to. She’s an extra great brand of awesome.
Cool.
The mix tape I had made the summer Kyle and I got married. I re-discovered it in my car this morning and proceeded to rock out to Panic! at the Disco (back when they still had the classy mid-title exclamation point) like it was 2006 all over again.
Our new neighbor! I just met her when she was unloading the U-Haul and found out she’s getting her PhD from the same university as I am. O-H. Go Bucks.
Not Cool.
How messy our apartment is. I JUST cleaned. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy….
Sleeping through my alarm which I did twice this week.
People eating people and sending parts of them in the mail. Just saying.
Undecided.
The weird in-between feeling I’m having. I don’t have a job this summer so technically all I have to do is read the 245 books on my candidacy exam list. I’m really going to have to impose some structure on myself or this is going to be a wasted summer.
The amount of time I’ll be spending in Colorado. Too much or too little? I’m incredibly homesick so I feel like more time is better…but I know I’m going to miss Kyle horribly. In fact, this is the longest we will have been apart since we got married six years ago.
Thanks, Janette, for the link-up and the inspiration today! If you want to link-up, go here!
love, elizabeth
YIPES! I'm so flattered by your kind words! AND superrrr happy that you joined up in the link up party bash! Did you find that the Undecideds were decidedly hard to conjure? I always do! Anyway! Really enjoyed your cools.. ANYTHING that "takes you back" (ESPECIALLY to 2006) is amazing! 2006 was a memorable year for me.. Met my Lovey that year...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and thanks again for linking up and for the shout out! You're a peach!
Janette the Jongleur

ReplyDeleteAnd isn't that news story just AWFUL! It totally creeped me out when they thought he possibly was still in Toronto.
