Where did my spark go?

I feel like I’ve been slowing losing my blogging spark. I haven’t found the same drive or motivation to write everyday. I feel un-creative and sloppy. And it must show because I’ve lost four readers this past week. I try not to be a follower-counter because that’s lame but it’s hard not to wonder what’s making me slip.

Spark

I miss blogging. I want my spark back.

What about you? Do you ever lose blog-ivation? How do you get it back?

love, elizabeth

  1. I feel you...Sometimes I think I go through these spells, just so I HAVE to take a break and figure out what it is that I am missing. Just step back and come back and try again...losing followers sucks to, but it happens to everyone I'm sure-those darn numbers, haha, it's hard not to look at them!

  2. I TOTALLY know what you mean! I lost 2 followers recently and I think its because my blog has been lamo lately. I'm thinking about an overhaul to get myself excited and interesting again.

  3. I get this feeling all the time, sometimes weekly. Sometimes letting myself skip a few days does the trick, other times making myself crank out a post gets me through it. In the end I decided it's best not to force something if I feel like I don't have something worthwhile to write about. Hope you find your groove soon!

  4. I get this way every week it seems, haha...I haven't had the readership I would like and it just seems like a dead end sometimes. But for some reason I haven't given it up yet. People keep telling me that I need to write for me, not everyone else. I suppose that's what I can offer you, too!

  5. Hey girl!
I just found your blog and this is the first post I read. I love it already! It's so relatable, because everybody goes through those spells sometimes, and the best thing to do is just take a break! New follower (:

Oh, and I'd love to invite you to check out my 150 follower giveawayhere

  6. I haven't been following your blog long but I personally feel posting every day is too much at least it is for me. What helps me is to try new things, get out of my comfort zone. Hit Pinterest. Get out doors and let go of everything for a few days, I always come back with more energy and ideas. Good luck and don't be hard on yourself.

  7. Oh girl, I feel you. Sometimes I just don't know what to say! But I just think about what I want to talk about and write about that. I think of the things that make me excited and that works for me :) Love you lady!

  9. You haven't lost it at all - sometimes we just need to pull ourselves away from the machine - the routine and live passionately in order to be inspired. Go catch a sunset or sunrise - find something that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts or cry until your eyes hurt. Do a different hobby - then when its time to pick it back up you'll know. You may lose a few readers here and there, but those of us who care about you will keep coming back awaiting your return. <3 <3
