31 Before ‘13

I know I’m not the first person to think of this but when I just couldn’t bring myself to draw up a list of New Year’s resolutions, I decided to try something else. So here’s my 2012 Bucket List. 31 things to before 2013. Some things made my list because I have to do them, anyway. Some things are on there because they seem easy or fun. Some things made the list because they scare the poop out of me. A few things overlap from my list of winter. I am resolved to attempt ALL of them.

  2. I love your list! It's so full of different kinds of things to do. (o: Pie crust is super easy - I can send you my recipe and my special tips if you want! I learned from my Grammy and it's kind of my forte.

Good luck with your list this next year! Look forward to reading about all of them as you check them off!

  3. Your list is outstanding. I love it. I need to make one too. But I agree with the blate, the blogging, and the games... I need more of that in 2012. I am so excited for the new year.

  6. Love your list!
I had a blate with my Canadian blog friend, Camille, in 2011 {she came to visit me and stayed for several days in my house!} and was one of the best experiences ever!

  7. This is an awesome list! These are some of my favorites:
    9. Find five new uses for five old/recycled things.
    17. Watch all of Alfred Hitchcock’s films.
    12. Learn to make a pie crust.
    30. Volunteer for a new charity.

And the idea of presenting a paper at a conference scares me like you wouldn't believe. It's probably half the reason I didn't quite finish my PhD, which seems totally ridiculous since teaching in front of students everyday doesn't bother me at all.
