Eavesdropping on Myself

I’m trying to get better about writing down the silly conversations Kyle and I have sometimes. Here are a few snippets...

Conversations

Kyle: What you are saying is totally crazy.
Elizabeth: You just don't understand. But if you had lived through what I have...
Kyle: What, your rampant paranoia?

(During the closing night performance of The Irish and How They Got That Way, the cast sang “The Rare Ould Times”)

Elizabeth: (whispering) Are you crying?
Kyle: No! (pause) Shut up.

(At Jeni’s Ice Cream, trying the new spring flavors)

Elizabeth: I like the Icelandic Happy Marriage Cake but…I don’t know…it’s just not weird enough for me. I wish it was more unusual.
Kyle: You are such a hipster.

(Watching Kung Fu Panda 2)

Elizabeth: An evil peacock? Really?
Kyle: It happens!

He makes me laugh all the time. Who is the funniest person in your house?

    My boy and I have the weirdest conversations and in jokes.
    Sometimes we just speak our own language.

    Yesterday he describe dinner (chicken salad) as chocolate.
    He explained, well it's not strawberry, but it's not butter, cocoa, and cream either.
    Work that one out!!
