And when October goes…

No secret that I love fall but it’s slipping away so quickly! Made a trip to the mall last week and was alarmed to see that Christmas (the commercial version, anyway) is in full swing.
Trying to savor the autumn sun and the last of the beautiful leaves before it gets freezing and gloomy until April, Ohio-style.

This time of year makes me think of this song by Nancy Wilson…

What about you? Anyone else thinking seriously about Christmas yet?

Oh, and be sure to stop by tomorrow for the vintage giveaway...it's going to be rad. And stuff.

love, elizabeth

It's been SO cold here but today is almost 70 degrees! The weather doesn't know what it's doing! The christmas-spirit hasn't quite hit me yet. But when I went to New Hampshire with my dad this weekend I got to wear my scarf that your mom made, and when I went to family dinner that night everyone was complimenting it!! :-) I love it!

Oh I am all over Christmas. I've already started on some fun crafty decorations I'm making so that they're reading the day after Thanksgiving when I decorate. (o:

BUT - I'm a huge Thanksgiving nut too though. It's one of my favorite holidays and I'm looking forward to celebrating it this year for many reasons. (o: Lots to be thankful for.

I'm sad that trees don't have bright pretty leaves anymore.

I love Christmas time, but I definitely don't like to see fall go....Maybe Christmas should be in the spring? ;)
